Arab Studies Table Meeting: Ramah Awad

Ramah is an undergraduate senior majoring in History and minoring in Anthropology. In History, she is pursuing the Global Affairs and World History track with a regional focus on the Middle East. She is particularly interested in issues relating to forced migration and had the opportunity to study abroad in Oxford for a tutorial at the Refugee Studies Center. While her honors thesis is housed in the History department, she applies Anthropological methods and concepts. Her thesis draws on four months of fieldwork between Istanbul, Brussels and Berlin.
