Arab Studies Table Meeting: Karine Walther

Karine Walther will meet with the Arab Studies Table to discuss a book proposal for her project Spreading the Faith: American Missionaries, ARAMCO, and the Birth of the US-Saudi Special Relationship, 1890-1955. She will also provide insights about the process of submitting proposals to an academic press. Karine is an Associate Professor of History at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in Qatar. She holds a PhD in history from Columbia University, a Maîtrise and Licence in sociology from the University of Paris VIII and a BA in American studies from the University of Texas, Austin.
