The Clash of Interpretations: Readings of the Qur'an

Following in the footsteps of his acclaimed work "The Malady of Islam", Prof. Abdelwahab Meddeb (University of Paris, X- Nanterre) will examine specific Qur'anic passages about Muslims' interactions with non-Muslims, focusing on the different ways in which these passages were interpreted and how contemporary Islam must deal with the ambiguities of interpretation.
