Abbasi Student Network

The Abbasi Student Network brings together advanced undergraduates and graduate students who study and research Islam and Muslim societies around the world.

Formed by combining the former Islam in Asia, Arab Studies Table and Ottoman-Turkish Studies student networks and co-sponsored by the Mediterranean Studies Forum (now Middle Eastern Studies Forum), it provides an interdisciplinary venue for students to present their work, debate regional issues, have access to professional development sessions, and engage with other scholars across and beyond Stanford.
