Zerreen Kazi

Zerreen Kazi (they/them) is a passionate event and project manager who is deeply committed to uplifting the stories and experiences of marginalized communities through their work. Zerreen brings a diverse range of experiences, including supporting organizations in the arts, education, and event production sectors.

Prior to joining the Abbasi Program, Zerreen worked as an Admissions professional, first at the San Francisco Waldorf School and later for the Stanford University Department of Electrical Engineering. They also produced events for Off the Grid, a Bay Area mobile catering company, and worked as a buyer for a beloved vintage store in San Jose. Along the way, their love for teaching also led them to work part-time as a private tutor and substitute math teacher for the San Francisco Unified School District. 

Outside of work, Zerreen’s passion projects are guided by a love of storytelling and include working with independent filmmakers, creative writing, and reading as often as possible.
