"She Who Tells A Story"

Kaleidoscope Episode 4: A conversation with Rania Matar and Tanya Habjouqa, two of the artists featured in “She Who Tells A Story,” an exhibition at the Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford, along with coordinating curator for the Cantor, Colleen Stockmann.

“She Who Tells A Story” showcased the work of 12 women photographers from Iran and the Arab World. What stories were they telling? In the episode, host Umbreen Bhatti reflects on those stories through the lens of her own, discussing the representations of Muslim women in the media, Muslim women’s dress, and motherhood.
