Roula Khaled holds a Master's degree in Sociocultural Anthropology, and earned a BA in Sociology from USJ– Université Saint Joseph of Beirut, Lebanon, her native country. She has worked in student admissions, and as a coordinator for a cultural exchange program for international students in Palo Alto. Roula is interested in research and was part of several projects at the Lebanese Ministry of Social Affairs and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) that relate to women’s empowerment. She is fluent in French, Arabic and English.
